The build spec, exactly as we quote it
- Fence line cleared, levelled, post locations marked; old fence demolished and hauled.
- Posts: pressure-treated Sienna Brown, set in concrete, ~8 feet on centre.
- 2x4 rails, Western Red Cedar 1x6 pickets, PT 2x6 kickboard with preservative on every cut end.
- Stainless or galvanized fasteners chosen by nailing location - not whatever's in the truck.
- Staining is optional and honest: two coats of SW Woodscapes when you want it, skipped when you don't.
Why we warranty fences for five years
Because the spec above earns it. Fences fail at the posts and the cut ends - so we set posts in concrete and treat every cut. A bargain fence with untreated cuts and posts in dirt looks identical on day one and leans by year three. Our 5-year warranty is the difference, in writing.
What we'll tell you up front
- Post positions follow your existing line unless we agree otherwise - property-line questions are yours to confirm.
- Cement needs setting time; a 1-2 day repair can stretch to 3 for that reason alone.
- Staining is NOT included by default - we quote it separately so you're not paying for it invisibly.
These lines come straight from our written estimates. Contractors who don't say them up front bill you for them later.
